What we're looking for

The STEM Table is currently looking for a high school-aged student from anywhere in the world with communication and organizational skills incorporated with leadership and community abilities to be our Director of Community and Events. We are seeking a student with preferable experience and/or skills managing a worldwide community of STEM enthusiasts and organizing community events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a Discord server of STEM enthusiast students from around the world
  • Manage a Slack workspace of TST members from around the world
  • Organize, plan and coordinate STEM events and socials
  • Lead the Community and Events team and delegate tasks
  • Assist in writing event flyers and guidelines
  • Promote TST's community and events through personal network

Qualifications

  • Immaculate leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Discord and Slack
  • Deep understanding of what makes a good STEM event
  • Experience with event management is a plus
  • Proven record of organizational skills
  • Experience with community management is a plus
  • Huge personal or professional network preferred
